Breaking barriers to advance tissue regeneration

We invented an engineered enzyme, ChASE37, capable of degrading inhibitory molecules that form in the central nervous system following injury, such as stroke and spinal cord injury. We can deliver ChASE37 locally and sustain its release using our novel biodegradable hydrogel, to help the tissue heal itself and restore lost function.
